MediaTek has launched into the high-powered processor market and users are enjoying it. After the presentation of Dimensity 9000, the Taiwanese giant has decided to respond to Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 with the new one Dimension 9000+. As the name suggests, this SoC is the most powerful on the market for the company and features many features specifications interesting. Let's see them together in detail.

MediaTek launches the Dimensity 9000+, an enhanced processor that challenges the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. Which of the two will win the market and the hearts of users?

MediaTek today officially unveiled the Dimensity 9000+ chip. The novelty is a response to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that debuted a month ago. And although the Dimensity 9000 is already faster than its counterpart, MediaTek has however decided to introduce an improved Dimensity 9000.

The recipe for improvement is the same as the competition: overclocking. The frequency of the Arm Cortex-X2 super core has increased 3.05 to 3.2 GHz

. For this reason, the CPU performance should increase by 5%. We are also talking about increasing GPU performance by 10%. Since the GPU hasn't changed (Arm Mali-G710 still does its role), it is logical to think that its frequency has also been raised, even if MediaTek does not say anything about it.

In fact, these are all changes from the regular Dimensity 9000. The new SoC is still manufactured by TSMC via a 4nm process, it still has three Cortex-A710 cores at 2.85 GHz e four Cortex-A510 cores at 1.8 GHz. The SoC supports LPDDR5X memory, cameras up to 320 MP and WQHD + displays with a frame rate of 144 Hz, comes with Bluetooth 5.3 and Wi-Fi 6E adapters, and also incorporates a 5G modem. MediaTek says the first ready-to-use Dimensity 9000 Plus devices will hit the market in third quarter of this year.
