Meizu 17: confirmed battery, recharge, flagship processor

Three days ago an important conference was held in China which featured Meizu's new flaghsip. Although many have erroneously reported that the April 22 was the presentation date of Meizu 17, just that same day the company announced that this will be on May 8th. In recent days, therefore, all the main and official information regarding the terminal has appeared. In particular, we now know 100% what they will be processor, battery and charging power. Furthermore, the latter confirms the hypothesis that we made some time ago.

The confirmation of the battery, of the charging type of the Meizu 17 SoC also herald the coming of a Pro version

Let's see what are the confirmations that the company has given through its Weibo profile. Let's start from the heart of the smartphone, or the processor.

Meizu 17 will have, as expected, the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865

We did not expect anything less from the powerful Meizu 17: it will integrate the brand new Qualcomm home provider, the Snapdragon 865. For those who love numbers the SoC in question is a 64-bit octa-core consisting of 1 x Kryo 585 2.84GHz + 3 x Kryo 585 2.42GHz + 4 x Kryo 585 1.8GHz. In addition to this, the memory on board the new flagship will be of type UFS 3.1, currently the fastest on the square. This means that read and write speeds of the smartphone's brain will be much more than fast. Now let's move on to the second datum.

Meizu 17 will adopt a 4.500 mAh battery with 30W charging

From the image we see how Meizu 17 will adopt a very large cell (single) from 4.500 mAh which can be recharged via cable to one maximum power of 30W. Disappointed those who expected wireless charging ... but the last word is not said. Why do we say so? Because if you remember well some time ago we saw the certification of a Meizu with 40W charging power. We had feared the hypothesis that it was a Meizu 17 Pro and if the standard has 30W, the possibility that this will come out in the near future becomes more concrete.
