New teaser unveils main camera and original color of Meizu 17

In the period preceding the release of each smartphone, companies used to leave information with the dropper. Also Meizu it does, although it does it in a "cleaner" way than many others. Every day a single poster gives us information about a feature. Yesterday it touched the display, which we know will show off a refresh rate at 90Hz. Today we have another information and it concerns what distinguishes the Meizu 17 from other smartphones: the photo gallery rear. We know it is made up of 5 sensors, but we don't know which ones. Well today we are aware of the main one.

Meizu 17 will be able to count on the new 686-megapixel Sony IMX64 photo sensor as the main camera

Below you will find the teaser poster published a few minutes ago by the brand. You can clearly see all the horizontal photo module but not only. In fact, the brand also anticipates us a new unpublished color. Can you guess the name?

But let's talk about the protagonist of this teaser, or the main camera. As we read in the poster, it will be one Sony IMX686. Some time ago it was rumored that we would find a sensor Samsung GW1 as main on this device, but evidently the cards on the table only changed.

This new sensor, which we also find on Redmi K30 5G take advantage of pixel binning technology. In a nutshell it's not about real 64 megapixels, but about 12 real megapixels who, during the software modification of the image, develop a quality equal to 64 megapixels.

The peculiarity of this sensor, like those of the same family equipped with this technology, is that in the same space of 1 pixel this time we have 4. This means that more light will be captured from the sensor, with a consequent increase in photographic quality.

In the next few hours the brand will delight us with the first shots taken by Meizu 17: if you are curious, continue to follow this article. We will update it with new photographs taken.

One last thing to see in this poster is the color: unlike what it may seem, this is not green but a shade of black called "Pine Deep Ink". A hybrid between a green and a petrol black. We can't wait to find out in all its beauty.
