Meizu will not launch any other smartphones in 2020
A Meizu executive said that the brand will not release new smartphones in the second half of the year, but there will be no shortage of new products. The brand is in fact planning smart home and smart wearable products and will have the opportunity to create online services in the second half of 2020.
As for the Meizu 17 series, the executive said that prices are reasonable and there will be no room for price drops in the future. While for the Flyme operating system the problems of the ads will be corrected so that in the next version the ads will be significantly reduced. Furthermore, thanks to the new version of NetEase Cloud Music, the lyrics will appear in the status bar.
Flyme will announce how the move to Andriod will take place on 10 June 25. To date, rumors suggest that ten devices should receive the latest Google home operating system. Next week there will be a trial version of OTA2 for Meizu 17 series smartphones. There will be more than 40 OTA2 updates in total.
Finally, Meizu will present the new TWS ANC that should arrive for the Double Eleven festival, together with the more expensive Meizu POP3.
