A few hours ago the Chinese giant from telephony has opened its official channel dedicated to smartwatches on Weibo. This channel has been accepted and validated so from today we can expect numerous leaks about Meizu watch. But what else do we know? The launch period, leaked by the company itself.
After certifying the device, whose trademark came out a few months ago, the company has decided to bring forward the release date as well. This does not mean that it will come out sooner, maybe: it means that it has told us in advance when it will come out. The launch is expected by 2020, so we won't have to wait for the new year. Most likely though, to see the smartwatch in Global version we will have to wait until 2021 if not 2022.
For the moment we know of the wearable only that it will integrate aproprietary interface, certainly based on WearOS. This interface will be called, trivially, Meizu for Watch taking back what is there MIUI for Watch for Xiaomi. What do you expect from the company's first wearable?
