The new interface of Lei Jun's company has paid particular attention to system optimization, which has a positive impact both in performance and in the occupied space, without giving up a series of graphic improvements that touch the various animations, such as transition effects, now faster than MIUI 12.
Xiaomi wanted to give a clean break to the various bloatware that have involved the company in a series of controversies in countries such as India, therefore there are only 9 essential applications that we will find already installed on the new MIUI 12.5. All this leads to an advantage both in terms of space and fluidity, as well as security, as we will have a clean system free of any form of bloatware.
The new system interface has been further compiled to offer lower energy consumption than any other Android interface in circulation, so much so that the company claims to achieve energy savings of up to 25%, thus bringing the autonomy of our smartphones to the highest levels. . On balance, the devices with MIUI 12.5 ROM can be considered battery phones, even without having to equip units with a thousand thousand mAh.
The Chinese company also reiterated that the animations of MIUI 12.5 are more fluid, but overall it is the whole interface that moves quickly and reactively, an optimization that will certainly give greater benefits to devices with more content hardware.
MIUI 12.5 is official: even safer, lighter and more and more innovative

The system sounds, already with MIUI 12 were a truly unique aspect for an Android ROM and now with MIUI 12.5, the development team has integrated a wide variety of sounds that reflect those of nature, also integrating the fauna and the breeze of the wind. In particular, the sounds of the main habitats such as those of the South American rainforest, the grasslands of East Africa and the Arctic Circle and the sounds of the micro world of Australia. There are more than 120 global creature sounds to mix and match.
Taking advantage of the Mi Haptic technology and therefore of the vibrations of the motor integrated in the smartphones, new functions that can be recalled with a single touch are integrated in MIUI 12.5, as well as providing a 4D system in the use of the MIUI keyboard. But it is the issue of user privacy that is particularly at heart, in fact with the arrival of MIUI 12.5 every action will be unauthorized access will be monitored by the system, providing a series of reports and authorizations that only the user can confirm.

There are also some improvements of the system apps, such as Notes, which integrates the graffiti function, also returning the possibility of drawing through panels. In the past we had already previewed this new Note app and as then the doubt is confirmed whether the company is not working on a device equipped with a stylus, such as the Galaxy Note series by Samsung. In addition, MIUI + arrives, a sort of desktop mode: in reality it is a synchronization via wireless between smartphone and Xiaomi notebook. Once activated, you will have a mirroring of the smartphone screen on that of the PC, being able to manage it via mouse and keyboard. On the one hand, good because all the brand devices updated to MIUI 12.5 could use them, but on the other hand it excludes the possibility of seeing a USB 3.0 port on a Xiaomi device but also the fact that we will need a notebook, moreover of the brand, without having the ability to perhaps exploit an external monitor.
