Mobvoi's smartwatches are already among the most advanced on the market thanks to the WearOS operating system and features such as the dual-layer display, 4G LTE connectivity and much more. Well, today the brand adds a new feature that probably many were waiting for on their TicWatch; let's talk about the possibility of monitoring sleep.
Mobvoi releases TicSleep for TicWatch Pro, now with sleep monitoring
Mobvoi has in fact just released an application that adds sleep monitoring to the series smartwatches TicWatch Pro, therefore both the one with Bluetooth only, and the 4G LTE version. Once the app is downloaded TicSleep directly from Google Play we will then have automatic tracking. This means that we will not have to activate it ourselves, but it will activate automatically every time we go to sleep.
The smartwatch will take into account both sleep cycles and heart rate. Thanks to this data, the device will then be able to wake us up at the best time, that is when we are in a state of light sleep. Furthermore, as with smart bands, once awake it will be possible to go to the application to see how long and how we slept.
In summary, the new TicSleep app is based on four main features:
- Proactive sleep tracking: Thanks to artificial intelligence, the smartwatch is able to understand when to start monitoring and when to stop it;
- Sleep cycle with heartbeat: The different sensors on board the TicWatch Pro allow us to collect very precise data regarding the quality of sleep;
- App interface: With the TicSleep app we can see both how much we slept the night before and up to the previous 7 days. This also applies to sleep cycles and heart rate monitoring;
- Smart alarm: TicSleep monitors the sleep cycle and wakes us up with a light customizable vibration when we are in a light sleep state;
