Lenovo's now-owned brand Motorola has just launched the new Moto G50, a relatively inexpensive 5G smartphone; let's go find out more.

The Moto G50 arrives with a design similar to that of the previously launched Moto G30, i.e. a notch at the top and a plastic back cover. While the 6,5-inch display has HD + resolution, to be precise 1600 × 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a screen-to-body ratio of 85%.
The Moto G50 is powered by the new Snapdragon 480 5G chipset, coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 1TB.
For photos we find three cameras on the back with a 48 MP f / 1.7 main lens, a 5MP f / 2.4 macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, there is a single 13MP camera with f / 2.2 focal aperture.
On the Moto G50 we then have a large 5.000mAh battery with 15W charging support (even if the supplied charger reaches 10W), rear fingerprint sensor, facial unlock, 3,5 mm audio jack, Type-C port , Wi-Fi 5 GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Galileo), 4G LTE (hybrid SIM slot) and Android 11 operating system.
The device will go on sale at a starting price of € 279,90 for the version with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
