According to a press release for investors from CE Brands a 9to5Google, the Moto Watch 100 will be the brand's next smartwatch with an entry-level price albeit with a premium feeling. Additionally, the wearable will go into mass production in November.
Moto Watch 100 getting closer to launch: here's what we know
New leaks suggest that the next Moto Watch 100 will be none other than the Moto G Smartwatch which was previously scheduled to launch in June 2021. This wearable will have a circular dial, two oval buttons on the right side and no crown buttons.
While the smartwatch's FCC certification suggests that it may not run with the Wear OS operating system. So it could mean that the smartwatch will be equipped with the custom RTOS OS like many other budget smartwatches on the market.
Unfortunately, only a few details about the Moto Watch 100 are known at the moment aside from its design. We know that the device will be available in two color options, namely Phantom Black and Steel Silver, and will have an aluminum body with 5ATM water resistance.
The Motorola Moto Watch 100 will be equipped with Bluetooth 5.2, GPS and a heart rate sensor, as well as a magnetic connector at the bottom and will be supported by a 355 mAh battery.
