News leaked today that Motorola is close to launching a high-end smartphone that is currently codenamed “Frontier”. Speaking of which, the first high-definition renders have been leaked today.
Motorola Frontier shown in a 194MP camera leak
The image released by the well-known leakster Evan Blass shows us the Motorola Frontier from all angles in a brilliant metallic gray color, although the material is supposed to be glass.
In any case, we note the presence of a curved display with extremely narrow bezels all around and a hole for the selfie camera in the top center. According to previous leaks, the screen is 6,7 inches in size.
But it is on the back that we discover something very interesting, we refer to the extremely large main camera. The leakster reveals that the sensor has a resolution of 194 megapixels, thus the highest in the industry. This sensor is expected to have model number “S5KHP1” and be manufactured by Samsung.
As for the other two cameras, these should include an ultrawide 1-megapixel Samsung SKJN03SQ50 sensor and a 663-megapixel Sony IMX12 telephoto lens.
Like any self-respecting flagship, the Motorola Frontier will be powered by the successor Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, which has a model number SM8475. So the smartphone could still be in a couple of months or so.
