Motorola has copied the interface of the Google Pixel | Photo

Last week Motorola unveiled the new Moto Edge X30. This is the first smartphone with a processor Snapdragon 8 Gen1, which is the first of a new series from Qualcomm. We knew this device would fight with Xiaomi 12 in terms of leadership… and he won. However, it does not win in terms of originality: from the first photos of the device interface we recognize a rather heavy cast of the stock skin of the Google Pixel. Clearly we are talking about Android 12. Let's see the details.

Motorola Moto Edge X30 is the company's new smartphone that comes with a whole new interface, more or less, in the Google Pixel style

The Motorola Moto Edge X30 smartphone, presented last week, comes with a pre-installed Android 12 operating system and a new version of theMyUI 3.0 proprietary interface. Apparently, the fears of many about the company abandoning the concept of “pure” Android have been in vain.

Judging from the first screenshots of the Moto Edge X30, when creating MyUI 3.0, the Motorola designers got it inspired by the Android 12 interface of Google Pixel smartphones. Many items have been reported completely unchanged. Thus, users are greeted exactly by the same lock screen with a large clock widget, an identical quick settings menu with large buttons in two columns and pre-installed apps made with the same design as the Google Pixels.

But the main thing that makes us think is the following: MyUI 3.0 has a automatic dynamic wallpaper change system. Or rather, the background color. This is a prerogative of Android 12, but it seems that it will arrive exclusively on the Pixels. Why then do we find it on the latest Motorola smartphone?

In any case, there is no information yet which smartphones of the company will be updated to Android 12 and will receive the new MyUI 3.0 interface. Likewise we do not know if this Moto Edge X30 will debut (under another name) in variant Global enviroment.
