Nothing Phone (1) official: a lot of marketing but also a lot of substance

NothingPhone (1) it is also official in Italy and its release is the key to understanding that the right marketing makes the difference. The hype created (especially thanks to reviewers of the likes of Unbox Therapy e Brands Brownlee) made this smartphone be among the most sought after before launch. Its design makes it very distinguishable from the crowd but under the body we have one hardware equipment already seen which, however, goes unnoticed. But let's not get lost in small talk and let's see everything in detail.

Nothing Phone (1) is official in Italy for less than 500 €. The smartphone is anything but marketing: will it be able to beat iPhone sales?

Carl Pei, co-founder of OnePlus, has finally unveiled his new company's debut smartphone Nothing Phone (1). The manufacturer has relied on a unique design and user experience, opting for mid-range features to keep the price more affordable. In the front there is one 6.55 ″ AMOLED flat screen with Full HD + resolution, up to 1200 nits of brightness and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The most interesting things are on the back: under the transparent cover there are a total of more 900 miniature LEDs. They can act as a powerful flashlight or flash while using the camera. Also, the LEDs respond to diverse actions. For example, when the wireless headphones are placed on the back cover for wireless charging, the area around the induction coil is highlighted and when the smartphone itself is charging, the bar at the bottom of the case shows the battery level. Furthermore, we can assign different lighting schemes to each contact or notifications from different applications.
