On yesterday's day we discovered that the next mid-range of the Nubia brand, namely the Nubia Play 5G, will be equipped with four rear cameras capable of taking exceptional photos in any situation. Well, today the brand anticipates instead some other specifications such as the processor and the refresh rate of the display, but not only. Let's find out more!
Nubia Play 5G: Snapdragon 765G and 144Hz display confirmed
Let's start with this last specification, which is the screen refresh rate. Nubia has just made official that the smartphone will adopt a display with the incredible 144Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling frequency. So at least from this point of view very close to the older brother, the Nubia Redmagic 5G.
Where we will see the main differences is instead in the computing power. The device will in fact be equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G. The Snapdragon 765G is a processor with excellent performance, especially within video games, but which does not come close to the performance of the Snapdragon 865.
As for the other specifications, the CEO of Nubia, Ni Fei, has told us that on the Nubia Play 5G we will find a fingerprint sensor under the screen. This statement also confirms that the smartphone uses an AMOLED type panel, as the fingerprint recognition technology does not work with LCD screens.
Finally, the device will arrive with a large 5100mAh battery, with support for Quick Charge 4.0 charging.
The Nubia Play 5G will be officially presented on April 21st.
