After releasing a good number of top of the range dedicated to gaming, the Chinese brand has also recently launched a medium range called Nubia Play. This device released in the Chinese market, could also arrive in an international version with a new name.
Nubia Play coming soon in a global version like Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite
A device with the model name Nubia NX651J has in fact just been caught on the GCF (Global Certification Forum) and EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) certification site. The model name takes us back to Nubia Play, which has been certified as Nubia Red Magic 5G Lite.
As we already know, the Nubia Play is a rather interesting device for mobile gamers with a reduced budget. In fact, we find an AMOLED type display with 144Hz update frequency and a touch sampling frequency of 240Hz. The smartphone also adopts a very clean design in front, without notches or hole, in its place we have an old-fashioned edge. On the back we see its more gaming look, with an aggressive design and two dedicated capacitive shoulder buttons.
Being a cheaper gaming phone, the brand had to cut especially in the CPU sector. We therefore do not find a flagship processor like the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, but a mid-range Snapdragon 765G, combined with up to a maximum of 8GB of RAM.
On the positive side, however, we have a huge 5100 mAh battery that is supplied with a 30 W fast charge.
