Nubia Red Magic invisible like OnePlus Concept One | Video

When it comes to smartphones from Gaming we think of devices with a super SWAG design and terrific specs. Just think of the tamarro aspect of ROG Phone from Asus or Black Shark of the homonymous Xiaomi rib company. These devices must have an attractive design to give the idea of power. But is that enough? If, on the other hand, a gaming phone were simple, but changed upon contact with our hands? This is the idea of Nubia and her (perhaps) next Red Magic. A Chinese blogger shows us a preview of this device.

Here's what the next (maybe) Nubia smartphone will look like: Red Magic with electrochromic back, changes color upon contact with the hands

Before Nubia Red Magic, we also saw a vivo prototype with this particular technology. It is an invisible alloy called indium-tin-oxide, which, when applied to the glass, makes the surface iridescent. This allows you to change the composition of the molecules and the passage of more or less light. Thus, when the light changes and therefore also when the hand approaches the device, this changes color. But more than a similarity with vivo, we note one resemblance to OnePlus Concept One.

In fact, this Nubia device does not change its color, but makes sure that the rear shell becomes invisible to the touch. This ensures that what we find under the body appears in transparency. As anticipated, we have seen a similar technology, if not the same, with the OnePlus concept phone that we invite you to see in the following video by Marques Brownlee.

But while in OnePlus the rear cameras housed in the middle of the leather body become invisible, in Nubia the edges disappear. Mirroring the Concept One, it is the other part that becomes invisible, making the photographic sector stand out more. Clearly it is not said that the brand in question will launch this device: we expect the costs are really too high.
