4GB uploads
Each user can upload large files and media, up to 2GB each, and enjoy unlimited storage in the Telegram cloud for free. With Telegram Premium, subscribers will now be able to send 4GB files: Enough space for 4 hours of 1080p video or 18 days of high quality audio. All Telegram users can download these large documents, regardless of whether they are subscribed to Telegram Premium.
Faster downloads
Premium subscribers can download files and multimedia content at maximum possible speed. You will be able to access everything contained in your unlimited cloud storage at the same speed as your network.
Limits doubled
Premium users get higher limits for almost everything within the app. With Premium you can track up to 1000 channels, create up to 20 chat folders with a maximum of 200 chat each, add a fourth account to any Telegram app, fix 10 chat in the main list and save up to 10 favorite stickers.
You can also write a longer bio and include a link to it. Likewise, Premium allows you to add more characters to media captions. Finding the right way to reply to any message will be easier with up to 400 favorite GIFs. Finally, Premium users can reserve up to 20 public links, making any group or channel you create stand out with a short, concise link.
Voice-to-Text
Voice messages can be converted to text. It will also be possible evaluate transcripts to improve them as well as inserting a reaction, like a common message.
Unique stickers
Dozens of stickers now have awesome full screen animations, which Premium users can post in any chat to add additional emotions and expressive effects visible to all users. This Premium sticker collection will be updated monthly by Telegram artists. We can quickly find Premium stickers in one section of your stickers panel, under the "Recently Used" section.
Chat management
Telegram Premium includes new tools to organize the chat list, such as the ability to change the default chat folder, so that the app always opens on one custom folder or, for example, Unread instead of All chats. To change the default folder, just click on a folder in the chat list> Reorder> and drag the favorite folder to the first space. Additionally, subscribers can activate an option in the settings of Privacy and security for archive and mute automatically new chats, to facilitate the organization of the most crowded chat lists.
Animated profile photos
Premium users profile videos will be animated for all throughout the app, too within chats and in chat list.
Premium badge
All premium users receive a special badge (in the shape of a blue star) that appears next to their name in the chat list, in the chat titles and in member lists in groups, to show their contribution in supporting Telegram and membership in the club that receives the new features first.
Premium app icons
Are available new icons which premium users can add to their home screen to create new combinations with their personality or wallpaper. You can choose between a premium star, a night sky or a turbo-charged plane.
No listing
In some countries, sponsored messages are shown on large public one-to-many channels. These minimalist, privacy-conscious advertisements help support Telegram's operating costs, but they will no longer appear for Telegram Premium subscribers. Premium subscriptions help Telegram not only pay for the additional costs of premium features, but also support the free version of Telegram for all.
Access requests for public groups
Public groups can now enable access requests, allowing group admins to review new members before allowing them to write to the chat. Users who open the group can tap Request access, adding their request to a list that only administrators can access.
Public group owners can enable access requests via Group Info> Edit> Group Type> Who Can Send Messages> selecting Members only> and enabling Approve new members.
Verification badges in chats
Public figures and organizations can check your group, channel or bot, receiving a verification badge to show users that messages are from a confirmed source. In addition to profiles, search results and chat list, these badges now also appear at the top of the chat. This makes it even easier identify the sources of information verified.
Improved sharing on iOS
With the ability to send files up to 2 GB (or 4GB), users can easily share large media items from other apps directly on Telegram on any mobile platform. This saves time and storage space, without having to save the file before sending it to Telegram.
When sending large files shared by another app on iOS, you can now observe one animated progress bar to understand if you have enough time for tea or if it is better to opt for an espresso.
Telegram Premium price
The price of Telegram Premium for Italy has not been announced but considering that in the US it costs $ 4.99 we expect a price of 5.99 €.
