OnePlus is releasing a new update for the stable version of the OxygenOS aimed at its devices OnePlus 6 e 6T. The update in question focuses in particular on the aspect of periodic safety that the devices need in general.

The builds for both smartphones refer to the OxygenOS 11.1.2.2. The changelog is as follows:

- Update of Android security patches in November 2021.
- System stability improvements.
So, on the one hand the November patches arrive, on the other hand some improvements are implemented for the stability of the entire system. The update is based on Android 11 and is currently being auto-distributed via OTA globally.
European users will therefore soon have the update available on the Settings of their device. It will be a matter of a few hours and it will reach everyone. It is very likely that this is the latest update for OnePlus 6 and 6T: these phones have several years on their shoulders.
As per internal policy, OnePlus guarantees two years of Android updates and three of security updates. For this reason it is logical to think that these two devices have finished their cycle of updates. However, we will see if OnePlus will reveal any surprises.
