The presentation of the new OnePlus 8 series will perhaps go down in history as one of the least interesting ever. Why? Well, almost all the specs have already been shown both officially and unofficially, the same goes for the renders of the two devices.
OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro: The images of the official covers leaked
As if this were not enough, today the first images of the official covers for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro also arrive, so even those will not be revealed at the launch event.
Specifically, we have a total of six different covers for both smartphones. We have one in black, one smoked purple, one cyan, one in nylon, carbon fiber and even the simplest completely transparent. So anyone interested in buying an official cover for one of the two devices, will not need to wait for the presentation to decide.
As for the specifications of OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, just the other day we managed to get all the data thanks to a leak.
We have the OnePlus 8 Pro with a 6,78-inch curved screen, 3168 × 1440 resolution, an aspect ratio of 19,8: 9 and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will be available with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 3.0GB or 128GB UFS 256 flash memory.
In the photographic sector we find a 48MP main camera, Sony IMX689 sensor, 48MP secondary (Sony IMX 586), third 8MP ultra wide angle camera, and 5MP with special filters. In front, however, we will have a 16MP selfie cam. Finally, the smartphone will equip a 4510mAh battery with support for fast charging via cable at 30W, as well as the wireless one.
Moving on to the OnePlus 8, here we have a 6,55-inch curved screen with 2400 × 1080 resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The RAM will be LPDDR4X type (8GB or 12 GB) and UFS 3.0 internal memory (128GB or 256GB). Here we have three cameras, 48MP (IMX586), 16MP (ultra wide angle) and 2MP (depth), while in front there is a 16MP sensor. The battery will be 4300mAh with 30W wired fast charge.
