It was only a matter of time before OnePlus 8T also received the first beta with OxygenOS 11. To be honest we were hoping for a faster release but obviously there have been issues with the release. In fact, it is no secret that the brand has had some hitches with other devices, see OnePlus Nord. Today, however, a thread with which it informed users of the rollout of the OxygenOS 11 for the device. But having said that let's see the news and how to proceed with the download.

As always, before proceeding with the installation, we recommend a nice one system backup. After installation, however, before re-entering all the data, a nice reset to avoid any kind of problem. It sometimes happens that as soon as you do an update on first use you snack problems that we've never encountered before.

Let us remember that this is one beta, therefore it is dedicated only to those who actually want to test and report bugs. The first change log is fairly standard, with some tweaks and tweaks for common issues with the status bar and display frame rate. The update also leads to the most recent security patches, namely those of February 2021.
