One user, for example, claimed to have played an arcade title for an hour: the device would have reached a temperature of 43,7 °, while the CPU would have even reached 46,5 °. Another user, on Weibo, instead declared even higher figures: 44,6 ° for his device, while the CPU 60,4 °. We read that even the cover was heated beyond the limits of endurance.
OnePlus therefore had to respond to the accusations, intervening at the request for clarification made by Sina Finance. The Chinese brand explained that all devices reach high temperatures when gaming: this would be something normal, which does not affect the functionality of the smartphone.
In short, it would not seem a very convincing explanation, also because users complain that they had difficulty using their OnePlus Ace / 10R so much it was overheated. All that remains is to wait for a global debut and understand if this problem will be frequent or sporadic only for a few users.
