As we have known for several days, the OnePlus Nord will become official next Tuesday. A preview of the launch, the company released some information on the key smartphone specifications. Yesterday in particular the company revealed that the OnePlus Nord will arrive with a total of six cameras. While Shawn L, the product manager of OnePlus, has confirmed some other specifications on the official forum.
OnePlus Nord will have a 90Hz screen, 12GB of RAM and a Google app
Let's start with the chipset, which as we learned about a week ago will be the Snapdragon 765G. Shawn later revealed that the smartphone will have up to 12 GB of RAM, will run on the Android 10-based OxygenOS operating system and will come with Google Comms Suite. An Instagram post from the brand also confirms that the device will come with Google apps.
Coming to the display of the OnePlus Nord, the smartphone could show off an OLED panel with a pill-shaped cutout for the two front cameras. Shawn did not confirm the size of the display but revealed that it supports a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz touch sampling rate.
The display will then host a 32 megapixel primary selfie camera and an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera with a 105 degree field of view.
As for the rear, the OnePlus Nord will have a quad-camera configuration with a 586-megapixel Sony IMX48 main sensor and OIS support. We will then find an 8 megapixel ultrawide lens, a 5 megapixel depth sensor and a macro lens.
