OnePlus has just revealed in a teaser that with the next OnePlus Nord we won't have to suffer the embarrassment of using a selfie stick. The smartphone will in fact be equipped with an ultra wide front camera so as to spare us the use of the much-mocked accessory.
OnePlus Nord: New teaser confirms ultra wide front camera
This therefore confirms that the North will be the first OnePlus smartphone to have a dual front camera. In particular, the secondary module will have an ultra wide angle lens with a 105 degree field of view.
According to the previously leaked specifications, the ultra wide camera will have an 8 MP sensor and will join the main 32 MP selfie camera. On the back there will instead be a configuration with four cameras. These will include the main 48 MP, one 8 MP with ultra wide lens, a 5 MP macro and a 2MP depth sensor.
As for the other specifications, the OnePlus Nord will adopt a 6,55-inch diagonal display of Super AMOLED type and with a refresh rate of 90Hz. While powering it will take care of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G, accompanied by up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal memory.
In any case, OnePlus will confirm all details on July 21, the presentation date of the smartphone. Together with the OnePlus Nord we should also see a pair of TWS headphones called Buds and, although less certain, the OnePlus Nord Lite with the Snapdragon 690 on board instead of the 765G.
