In the background, however, the manufacturer also appears to be working on one TV with an integrated camera module. Basically it will join the camera to a panel. But how? On September 29, 2020, OnePlus filed a patent with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO). The 19-page documentation entitled "Camera and Electronic Device Module" was released on April 15, 2021. A OnePlus TV is described with a centrally located pop-up camera. When the camera is activated, it automatically slides out of the body. So far no difference to existing TV models with an extendable camera. However, such a camera has a limited range, so the user has to sit in front of the TV to get a good picture.
OnePlus has come up with a solution: rotate it. In fact, the head can rotate (not 360 °) allowing the photographic sensor to shoot all corners of the room where the TV is placed. According to the data provided, this camera can also recognize users' faces.
