On July 31, the ChinaJoy convention was officially open to the public. Many Chinese smartphone manufacturers attended the event, including OPPO, which also demonstrated its new charging technology: the OPPO 125W Super Flash Charge.

According to official data, the OPPO 125W super flash recharge manages to recharge a smartphone from 0 to 41% in 5 minutes (with a 4000mAh battery). While for a full recharge it will only take 20 minutes. OPPO's super flash charging technology will be supported on smartphones, computers and tablets. Which is great news as it is the fastest charge currently in this sector.
At the same time, OPPO 125 W super flash charging is also safe as it strictly controls that the temperature stays below 40 degrees Celsius when the screen is turned off and on standby. 10 temperature sensors are also added to ensure greater safety and decrease power in case of overheating.
OPPO previously stated that this new recharge uses 6C cell and multi-pole (MTW) technologies, with the recharge path being shortened exponentially. The impedance of the cell is in fact further reduced and a greater quantity of current can be introduced, that is up to 12,5 A.
As for the input instead, the OPPO 125W Super Flash Charge uses a parallel solution to three charge pumps with 98% conversion efficiency. The output power of 20V 6,25A from the adapter is converted to 10V 12,5A by means of three parallel charge pumps, which then bring it into the battery.
In addition, this charging technology uses an exclusive 128-bit OPPO encryption algorithm which according to the Chinese brand effectively prevents security risks such as firmware hacking.
Finally, Zhang Jialiang, the scientific director of OPPO VOOC flash charging, said that the 125W super flash charging technology has reached mass production and is expecting the release of terminals with support for the new technology. In other words, we may already find the OPPO 125W Super Flash Charge on the next flagship released by the brand.
