New rumors appeared online suggest that OPPO is working on a new smartphone called OPPO A16. But the interesting fact is that this device will be rebranded as OPPO A37 (2021) in some other markets.

Recall that the previous model, the OPPO A15 was a relatively cheap smartphone, so it is highly likely that this new OPPO A16 will also be cheap, as well as being released in the Chinese market under the name of OPPO A37 (2021). We also know that In China it will be launched in colors like blue, beige and black. While the OPPO A16 for other markets will be released in blue, white and black tones.
In the previous days we have seen that the OPPO A16 has achieved multiple certifications and has appeared on the Geekbench benchmark site, with some of its specs being revealed. Specifically, the A16 measures 163,78 x 75,62mm and has a 180,39mm diagonal. For connectivity, it will offer features like dual band Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth.
The smartphone will run with ColorOS 11.1 based on the Android 11 operating system. To power everything we could find the Helio G35 chipset together with 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone is likely to be equipped with a 5.000mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
Finally, for security, it should have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
