This morning a new OPPO-branded smartphone was caught on a well-known Chinese certification site. As the title suggests we refer to the next OPPO A98 which would have just been certified on TENAA.
OPPO A98 certified on TENAA: unveiled design and specifications
As revealed by the Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station, the smartphone has the code name “Hepburn” and, even if not mentioned by DGC, this device could probably be launched as OPPO A98.
The leakster also claims that the device will adopt a 6,7-inch curved display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD +) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The center-hole screen will have a narrow chin. 2,33mm and will support PWM dimming up to 2160Hz.
The smartphone will be powered by a mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chip, will support 67W fast charging, and will also come with a 108MP main camera.
As for the other specifications, the OPPO device will be equipped with dual stereo speakers, NFC for contactless payments / transits and an on-screen fingerprint sensor.
Now we just have to wait for further updates in this regard, hopefully coming directly from the parent company.
