Official renders of Oppo Ace 2 and 40W wireless AirVOOC charger

We weren't wrong. The base for the 40W Oppo wireless charging this is what we showed you exclusively a few days ago. Yesterday evening it was certified by the institution Wireless Power Consortium which, in addition to a high-definition photo, has given us specifications relating to its operation. But this is not the only novelty this morning: the brand wanted to show us a preview of how the smartphone will be in reality Oppo ace 2. He has indeed released official renders as well as a beautiful promotional poster. Let's go see the device and the Oppo AirVOOC 40W.

First official renders for Oppo Ace 2, as well as juicy information about the 40W Oppo AirVOOC wireless

Let's start by seeing the coming smartphone in all its beauty and in different perspectives.

These three images show us the Ace 2 from all sides but we start to see the back. This turns out clean, smooth, without too many contaminations from exaggerated writings or logos. The latter is horizontal and is located at the bottom of the device. A change from the Reno series, not only in name, but also in its position. Above the logo pike for the Oreo camera, i.e. with round traffic lights, where i 4 48 + 8 + 2 + 2 megapixel sensors (4K video shooting). At their side a dual LED flash. In profile, the device does not seem thick at all and in fact it is so seen that the brand has confirmed i 185 g of total weight. The camera protrudes slightly but we are sure that it will not bother anyone.

Moving on to the front, we glimpse the 16 megapixel single camera in the upper left. In reality it would have all ended here if we did not have a nice poster that tells us more information about the display.

Confirming the release on April 13, 2020, the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 and the weight of 185 g, the poster gives us additional information about the adopted. At first glance this does not seem curved as we are used to seeing in the latest devices released. If we think about Xiaomi Mi 10

or even a Oppo Find X2 Pro we will see that the curvature of the edges is not the same. So could we finally expect a device with a screen as it should be? Without a doubt we shouldn't expect a gaming smartphone. CEO Brian Shen wanted to insist on this morning: Oppo Ace 2 has a gaming soul but it is not a device used exclusively for that use. This means that the other areas, such as battery and camera, will also be noteworthy.

But now let's move on to the second news, that is the one that concerns the wireless charging. Unlike what we announced, it seems that Oppo Ace 2 will be equipped with wireless charging from 40W which will be called AirVOOC 40W. A little surprised by this thing, we show you in high definition what will be the charging base.

As we have shown you previously, this is the device's wireless charging dock. It differs from that of OnePlus for the fact that it is not vertical, but the operation is the same. The other substantial difference lies in the power supplied. As you may have guessed that of AirVOOC will be 40W while that of OnlePlus stops at 30W. Ace 2 will therefore have support for this type of recharge, despite initially having been denied. By zooming in on the information behind the device, we find that this supports the following inputs: 9V 2A (18W), 5V 6A (30W), and 10V 6.5A (65W). The maximum output obviously is 40W. On the back we find the sort of anti-spli rubber that will allow the smartphone not to slip while we are charging it.

Il price is of course unknown, but it will not be low at all.
