Oppo Ace 2: Testing and display specifications revealed in a new teaser

In particular, the video clip (above) just released shows us the various tests performed on the Ace 2 screen, together with quite specific technical data. However, let's start with the data that we already knew, or the update frequency that will be 90Hz, while the sampling frequency of the touch will be 180Hz.

Moving on to colors, the display will be able to cover 96,3% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, with a deltaE of just 3. In other words, we will have extraordinary color accuracy. Furthermore, the screen supports a maximum brightness of 819 nits. Although we can't actually say with absolute certainty what percentage of the screen area was illuminated to achieve that value. Oppo then unveiled the relevant values for the blue light curve, which according to the brand's measurements is equivalent to 460nm. This value should be great for reducing eye fatigue.

So the Chinese smartphone manufacturer seems to have decided to publish all the data concerning the display before it is even reviewed by companies such as DisplayMate which is mainly based on the testing and review of the screens that we find on our devices.

Returning to the Oppo Ace 2 itself, the renderings leaked in the last few hours allow us to take a complete look at the smartphone leaving us very few doubts. As for the specifications instead, the latest rumors suggest that on the Oppo device we will find a 6,5-inch diagonal AMOLED display with FullHD + resolution.

We will then have a camera inside the display in a hole in the upper left; this selfie cam will have 16MP resolution. On the back we will have a circular module with four cameras in total. These will include a 48MP main, a secondary with an ultra wide angle lens, a 2MP telephoto and finally a fourth 2MP sensor most likely used to capture depth data.

The other main specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 as a processor; combined with 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal memory. Then there will be a 4.000 mAh battery with fast charging support with a maximum power of 65W, while the wireless one should go up to 40W and will be called AirVOOC.
