The sector of TV and Smart TV is growing exponentially. One factor that is contributing significantly to this increase is undoubtedly the possibility of integrating a TV box or a TV Stick. These devices allow, even in older televisions, to use streaming services without any kind of problem. But clearly features aren't everything. Even the eye wants its part and every brand, including Oppo, is trying to take TV design to the extreme. The patent we show me shows the Chinese company's attempt to actually build a TV without edges.
Oppo's next goal will be to bring a borderless Smart TV to the market, not flat of course, but full screen
The patent in question has been submitted to the authority of China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) on May 27 this year but was only approved today. Show a TV prototype that has no edge whatsoever. Although this design is highly sought after, we shouldn't expect a very thin profile.
To demonstrate the truthfulness of the information, we enclose all the reference numbers.
In the first image above you can see, highlighted with a circle, the corner of the TV. This circle indicates the thinness edges of the device. On the other hand, it is immediately understood that it is one Borderless TV. Following are some “color” images of how the prototype should be in reality. We see in particular in the figure below, as the profile will not be that thin. In circulation, though not borderless, there are TVs that are much thinner than this.
In any case, the back side is formed by two large bands: a low with a knurled texture and a completely smooth high. It is not excluded that they are in the low one integrated speakers. Since this is a patent, it is not known if and when this device will arrive on the market. We'll see.
