Oppo ColorOS 7 presented in China: main features and release dates

At the Oppo conference held in China today, the Chinese smartphone maker announced ColorOS 7 based on Android 10; the new operating system which in the following months will reach dozens of brand devices.

ColorOS 7 is promoted as the most complete operating system ever released by Oppo and with a new very simple and clean design. The brand spokesman says that this more minimal design serves to decrease tiredness on the eyes. While the icons will be customizable in shape and there will be "Art +" backgrounds for greater quality even on the home of the device.

But the graphics are not everything, so Oppo has also created new sound effects. The Chinese brand has in fact collaborated with the well-known Danish sound company Episound to systematically design the sound of simple human language and simulate the sound of the real world. In other words, very simple and at the same time relaxing sounds have been created. This group of sound effects will be called Oppo Relax.

As far as performance is concerned, ColorOS 7 brings background optimizations to improve performance. In particular, Oppo says that we will have better RAM management and a reduction in application startup times of around 40%; for an efficiency on the resources used of about 30%. If you are more interested in the gaming side, ColorOS 7 should also improve the fluidity of the game and the response speed of the touchscreen.

Moving on to the photographic sector, in the new OS we will find the Portrait 2.0 mode to take even more captivating portraits, an improved night mode and a super-steady mode to record more stabilized videos on the software side. There are also changes in the gallery application for faster viewing, editing and sharing.
