At last year's Qualcomm technology summit, the tech giant launched a GPU driver update plan for the "Elite Gaming Phone Experience". This means that smartphones equipped with the Snapdragon 865/765 CPU series can get driver updates on board.
OPPO Find X2 Pro: GPU drivers updated for the first time
Until now, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and the Redmi K30 Pro support all GPU driver updates from the store, useful for improving performance and stability during game sessions, while optimizing Vulkan's performance.
Well, yesterday evening some OPPO Find X2 Pro owners started receiving the GPU driver update notification, also to be updated on the Play Store. The update can be obtained by downloading OplusGpudriver. The driver version is 0474.0.
The update changelog includes:
- Crash reduction. Operational stability of applications and games such as Peace Elite and Fortnite;
- Vulkan: performance optimization.
It should be noted that the driver update must be updated to the latest version of the system. Once the update is complete, the version of the GPU driver will change from 444 to 474. The latest driver can be selected in the Game Driver's Settings-Preferences.
