The lab DxOMark tested the battery of the Lite version of the Oppo flagship presented in February. The results were impressive: the new product managed to break through the top of the ranking drawn up by the laboratory, entering the top-ten of more balanced devices in terms of autonomy. Oppo Find X5 Lite is equipped with a 4500 mAh with 65W fast charging support. The device was tested in the 8GB - 256GB configuration. The autonomy indicators of the device were compared with the results of Xiaomi 11t and Find X3 Lite.
In everyday use, the Oppo Find X5 Lite performed well, occupying the first place in most scenarios except for the call mode. With an average load, the device ran for 58 hours and with a moderate load a full 83 hours. The smartphone also outperformed its predecessor in disciplines with a higher hardware load (gaming, watching videos and listening to music), but it has lost against the Xiaomi under similar test conditions. DxOMark experts attributed the strengths of the device to a generally good autonomy, a high charging speed (95% in half an hour and 100% in 37 minutes), as well as a minimal loss of charge overnight.
The main drawback of Oppo Find X5 Lite is a high power consumption during phone calls. In tests it has shared eighth place with Redmi Note 10 in the autonomy ranking of DxOMark and became fourth in its price category, beating models such as Samsung Galaxy A72 and realme GT 5G.
