OPPO K9s confirmed the launch date: coming with Snapdragon 778G and 120Hz screen
The released poster shows that the OPPO K9s slogan is “extremely strong gaming chips, I am that strong”, suggesting that the OPPO K9s will have high performance.
According to the information leaked earlier, the OPPO K9s will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chip. This chip uses TSMC's 6nm process, this is the first time Qualcomm Snapdragon uses TSMC's 6nm technology.
In terms of architecture, the Snapdragon 778G uses Kryo 670 cores with a maximum frequency of 2,4 GHz, for a performance increase of up to 40%. Integrates Snapdragon X53 5G baseband, supports millimeter wave (400MHz bandwidth / 2 × 2 MIMO), Sub-6GHz band (100MHz bandwidth / 4 × 4 MIMO), a maximum download speed 3,7Gbps , support for dynamic spectrum sharing (DSS), global 5G multi-card and 5G NR.
In addition to using the Snapdragon 778G, the OPPO K9s will also have a 120Hz high refresh rate screen and is also equipped with an X-axis linear vibration motor.
Compared to the rotor motor, the main feature of the linear motor is that the vibration gives a sense of direction and its control chip can output a peak voltage of up to 10V.
