Based on what we learn, this particular feature will be available at least initially for a limited number of smartphones. Among them the whole series Oppo Reno 5, the A93 e A55. Smartphones that we actually struggle to see in the western market as they came out (with that name) only in China. But let's get to the gist: how does this feature work?
Basically every smartphone is equipped with a quantity of factory RAM. However, it may happen that for certain reasons the user needs more memory available. Well, through the system settings Oppo will provide aoption to increase RAM up to 19 GB. To do this he will use part of the internal storage. It's not a completely new thing actually: other top-of-the-line smartphones, especially gaming phones, can do a similar thing.

But are there any limits? Yes. The amount of RAM you can expand, then add, is of maximum 7 GB. Basically if we have a Reno 5 with 8 GB of basic RAM, we can reach the limit of 15. However, the limit of 7 is not the minimum, but the maximum. We understand from the source that the user can choose whether to increase by 3, 5 or 7 GB as needed. For some basic configurations you can also choose 1, 2 or 3 GB.
