Oppo Reno 4 Lite and 4 Z: the existence of the two variants confirmed

UPDATE AT THE END OF THE ARTICLE - 12/08/2020

E 'just a few minutes ago the news according to which Oppo Reno 4 (CPH2091) and 4 Pro (CPH2089) in 5G version they should arrive in a Global version. So in Europe we could see both the 4G and 5G variants. But to complicate things, however, there could be two other models that, right poco long ago, they were certified. We have news of them from the team XDA which bring us some images with some preview data. They would be called, according to the source, Oppo Reno 4 Lite and 4Z. Let's see the details together.

Two new certified variants: these are Oppo Reno 4 Lite and 4Z. Maybe they will arrive in the global market but… how much confusion!

Let's start with the first, which is the Lite version. This is codenamed CPH2125 and was first caught in the Bluetooth SIG database. The data reveals that it is a device with display by 6.43 " with HD + resolution, battery from 4.000 mAh and processor MediaTek octa-core that travels at 2.0 GHz maximum. It also mounts the interface updated to the latest release ColorOS 7.2 based on Android 10.

Let's move on to the version now Z. The name is based on the previous model Reno 2Z and therefore this does not make us turn up our noses: politics and names are similar to previous models. This variant is codenamed CPH2065 and he too was found on the Bluetooth SIG database as well as on the FCC database (you can find everything in away at the end of the article). From his we have a display by 6.57 " with HD resolution + battery from 4.000 mAh and processor MediaTek octa-core for him too. The XDA team believes it is a MediaTek Helium 5G. Unlike the Lite this version mounts the coloros 7.1 always based on Android 10.

That said, we recommend taking the names of these devices with a grain of salt. Although the source is quite reliable, to state right away that there are two other models for the Reno 4 series is risky. Also, a Lite version is very difficult to find in the Oppo catalog, if we remove Oppo Find X2 Lite.

UPDATE - 12/08/2020

Apparently the existence of these two devices has been confirmed from two other certifications. These come from the institution EMVCo as you can see in the fue photos below. We therefore know that two new variants of Reno 4 are in the pipeline. Among other things, it seems that only the variant Z will be equipped with connectivity 5G.
