Special day for Oppo which is preparing to present the new series in Italy (after various announcements). Skipping Series 3 here it comes Oppo Reno 4 5G, with all his brothers Pro e Z. From this moment it is possible to buy them from the official Italian channels without worrying about Chinese ROMs and so on. Below all details of new devices. Clearly the presentation was online, without present, cause coronavirus.
Oppo Reno 4 5G, Pro and Z design
We can say that it is one smartphone for young people, with a style sleek and very glamorous. To justify this, the bright colors and advertising for a demanding public but "young". But not only. Oppo can take advantage of the collaboration of several world famous artists for the development of this device such as Stephan Ashpool.
La Pro version shows three rear cameras vertical traffic light. The distinctive point is the size of the optics: all the same, perfect and symmetrical. This certainly creates a premium effect that continues with the finishing of the device in the front. This is the thinnest 5G smartphone on the market. Two colors are available: blue and black. Comes with a display a 90Hz from 6.5 " and with resolution FullHD +.
La Standard version it always comes with three vertical traffic light cameras but with a lower resolution that we will see later. In this case the display is from 6.4" but always with the same resolution. However, it does not have a 90Hz refresh rate.
La version Z instead, it will have a dual rear camera. This design was chosen not to be too similar to the other two models. It changes a lot compared to other devices also in terms of processor and performance. Strangely though it comes with 120Hz display for greater fluidity. This is from 6.57 ″ with FHD resolution (lower resolution but larger panel).
Processor and performances Oppo Reno 4 5G, Pro and Z
The processor of the Pro version and the Standard version is Snapdragon 765G, which we already know. There is no need to emphasize the performances as they are already known: zero lags and jamming for almost mid-range fluidity top of the range.
The different processor has the Z version. This is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 800, mid range processor that is talking about itself and also a lot. This is the first 5G smartphone in Europe with this SoC.
The available configurations are 8 / 128 GB for Reno 4 e 12 / 256 GB for Reno 4 Pro. For Reno Z only 8 / 128 GB.
Oppo Reno 4 5G, Pro and Z cameras
As mentioned before, the Pro version (oddly) it has three cameras. These are respectively:
- 48 megapixel ultra clear camera;
- 12 megapixel ultra night wide angle camera;
- 13 megapixel telephoto camera.
The technologies used by this photographic sector are numerous. Let's go to the Ultra Steady Mode to the Front Steady Video Mode for exceptional stabilization both front and back. We then have the Ultra Night Video Mode , Live HDR for bright images even at night. Finally, the most curious we have already talked about is the Cinematic mode which allows you to shoot movies as if we had a real professional camera. There is no shortage of methods Macro e night photo as for photography. A special feature of this smartphone is that it clicks 6 photographs simultaneously and create an average automatically for a better shot.
For the Standard version we have a triple rear chamber from:
- 48 megapixel;
- 8 megapixel wide angle;
- 2 megapixel Black & White for portraits
For the version Z we have a quad room from:
- 48 megapixel;
- 8 megapixel wide angle;
- 2 megapixels macro;
- 2 megapixel depth.
Battery
It is gifted, the Pro, of a battery from 4000 mAh it's rickarica Super VOOC 2.0 at 65W. This means in just 36 minutes it recharges the smartphone from 0 to 100%. There are well to improve battery efficiency three layers of graphene which allow the cell not to overheat. There is the Super Nighttime Standby which allows you to discharge only 2% of battery during the night.
The Standard can count on one 4020 mAh always at 65w for the environment, and the version Z on a 4000 mAh but with charging power a 18w.
Prices of all variants
Prices are not low, not even for the Reno Z:
- Reno 4 Pro 5G: 799 € (Galactic Blue and Space Black);
- Rhine 4: 599 € (Galactic Blue and Space Black);
- Reno 4Z: 399 € (Ink Black and Dew White).
There is also an exclusive version Green Glitter, whose color was developed with Pantone. This limited edition comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. This a 849 €.
