Presented last month, Reno 6 has arrived on DxOMark for battery evaluation. Despite the fact that the smartphone has not received the largest battery on the market (in fact it has only 4300 mAh) the high autonomy of the device impressed the experts. For clarity, the Oppo Reno 6 test results were compared with smartphones with similar characteristics from other manufacturers: realme gt e Samsung Galaxy A52. Although the battery capacity of these devices is slightly above 4500mAh, the Oppo fared just fine.
The device proved 83 operating hours with a single charge if used 2.5 hours a day or 35 hours with active use, using it for 7 hours. Furthermore, Oppo Reno 6 got the best rating thanks to its high charging efficiency. This provides more than 10 hours of operation after a charge of less than 50%.
The only significant drawback of the smartphone was the low autonomy during calls. The device showed an average result during use while on the road, when the connection is unstable. In the battery life rating category, Reno 6 took first place in the DxOMark ranking with 96 points.
