OPPO Reno 8 appears on Geekbench, with a processor never seen before

OPPO is preparing to freshen up its Reno 8 series in China. The company is expected to launch three smartphones under the Reno 8 series. These include the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro, and the Reno 8 Lite base. The Chinese company has yet to confirm the exact launch date, but some rumors say it will debut at home in May. Meanwhile, OPPO Reno 8 it also appeared on Geekbench, a sign that the official presentation is really missing poco.

OPPO Reno 8 will have the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1

While we await the official launch date, an alleged Reno 8 series phone has visited the Geekbench site. The device has the model number PGAM10. As listed, the phone draws power from a processor codenamed Taro, which may be Snapdragon 7 Gen1, which could just debut with the Reno 8 series.

The device listed on Geekbench has 8GB of RAM. In addition to this, the phone is running Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1. More details have leaked in the past few weeks. It is said that the device will sport a 6,55 ″ Full HD + OLED display, with 120Hz refresh rate. It will also feature a triple camera setup on the back with a 5 0MP main camera sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera sensor.

Battery side, it will integrate one from 4500 mAh with quick charge from 80W. The other elements of the data sheet remain unknown for the moment.
