Last month, the first rumors about the next OPPO Reno7 series were leaked thanks to the well-known Chinese leakster Digital Chat Station. Today, the same leakster has also released some details on the camera system that we will find on the series.
OPPO Reno7: new leak confirms that it will have a higher quality camera
According to Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Reno7 series will use large camera sensors. In particular it reveals that the OPPO Reno 7 in the basic version will be equipped with a Sony IMX766 primary sensor of 50 MP with a size of 1 / 1,56 inches.
This would be a major upgrade over the OPPO Reno6 and OPPO Reno6 Pro which instead adopt a lower quality 64MP OmniVision OV64B main sensor which is 1/2 inch smaller in size, which had disappointed enough. So hopefully the new improved sensors on the next generation will bring improvements.
Recall that earlier, the same leakster had revealed that the standard OPPO Reno7 will feature a metal frame and hole in the upper left corner like its predecessor. He also said it will have a triple camera setup and a notification LED ring.
Finally, according to the blogger Digital Chat Station, the OPPO Reno7 will compete with the Vivo S12, another smartphone that should arrive in the coming weeks.
