In particular, we saw a preview of a light bulb, a smart speaker and a smart curtain. All products that will be released first in China and only later in the West, of course, but today we have news of a new product: one security camera.
How can we fail to state its intention to enter the smart home sector if not with an Oppo security camera? Here's how it will be
At the moment we do not know that in the catalog of the Chinese brand there are products related to home automation or to smart home. However, this does not mean that Oppo does not intend to propose itself as competitor of other big names such as realme and Xiaomi. Realme in particular in the last period has pushed a lot on this kind of products. Having said that, however, let's see how the first surveillance camera of the Chinese giant will be.
Within the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA), we found evidence of the brand's willingness to engage in this new adventure. The security camera whose name is still unknown introduces itself very similar to that of Xiaomi, or rather of the sub brand Yi. A "eye of Sauron”If we want to mention the famous trilogy of“ The Lord of the Rings ”: this will be the first security cam of the brand.
It is characterized by a base applicable on external or internal walls, on which the eye tilts with the video camera inside. Unfortunately we have no information regarding the resolution and technical specifications: this is a patent released today and the characteristics will probably still have to be outlined. The product is also characterized by small holes on the back that suggest the presence of a microphone or a sensor used to pick up sounds.
We are sure that in the coming months we will know something more about it, but in the meantime the idea of one Oppo smart home teases.
