Oppo shows the smartphone with a Reflex style camera | Video

Oppo Inno Day 2021 is approaching, where the Chinese giant is also called Green Factory will present its first foldable smartphone to the world. Burning the times a bit, perhaps a victim of its own hype, the brand has anticipated an absolute novelty. In a video Oppo shows his smartphone with telescopic camera. An absolute novelty that if it entered the market would revolutionize not only design but would solve many problems of space and symmetry. Let's go see it together.

Oppo has decided to anticipate the first smartphone with a “retractable” telescopic camera: it works like a reflex lens!

Ahead of the upcoming Oppo Inno Day 2021 conference, the company of the same name has made its first announcement. At the event, he will present a smartphone with a retractable camera developed by in house. His work can already be seen on video. The camera of the new Oppo smartphone works according to it same principle as the old digital cameras. The telescopic lens literally slides out of the body, thus changing the focal length: this allows you to adjust the value of the optical approximation.

No device specifications were disclosed. However, Oppo has already taken care of the durability of such a solution, showing in the video the impermeability of the entire structure. Also, when a drop is detected, the camera will automatically hide in the body to avoid getting wet inside. It is unclear if the new technology is ready for commercial use. Several years ago, it was the company itself that first showed a smartphone prototype with a periscope lens, which is now widely used in the flagships of many companies. And in August of this year, Oppo has announced a periscope lens with continuous optical zoom

The Oppo Inno Day 2021 will kick off on 14th December and will last until December 15th. At the event, the official presentation of the company's first folding smartphone is expected, as we anticipated, but there will be other surprises. Among these, many users are also hoping for charging with 150W power. An exaggerated but certainly comfortable solution.
