Oppo prepares extremely bizarre (and uncomfortable) TWS headphones

Oppo clearly intends to amaze. The project for the smart home continues apparently, but the company has no plans to abandon designing extravagant products as well. We have seen the smartphone Rollable Oppo X, for instance. Today, from China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) images of a patent referring to TWS headphones. However, these are not simple and ergonomic headphones, quite the opposite! Let's go see the patent together.

Oppo is planning to launch TWS headphones with the arc shape, but not that are put around the neck: here are the photos from the patent

Oppo has from poco filed a patent with number CN306834992S referring to TWS headphones. These are headband headphones, but not as we think. When we think of headphones with a headband, we usually think of a device to “hang” around the neck, intended mostly for sportsmen. This time it is precisely the earphones that are arched.

As we can see from the image, oppo is preparing TWS headphones with a headset. The earphones themselves would serve as a kind of tappo that closes the case, finally composing a device that takes the shape of a bar of soap. It is no secret, however, that such a solution turns out rather uncomfortable.

First of all, such earphones, if not light, can be bulky and annoying. Let's think about having a similar device in the ear, with the lower part that hits the cheek. In addition to this, the case has too many edges and this is also a disadvantage.

But having said that, we reiterate that it is a patent and that may never become reality.
