Qualcomm ready with two new medium-high-end Snapdragons: the details

Qualcomm is one of the most quoted companies when it comes to smartphone processors, even if it must be remembered that the US giant does not only deal with that. In any case, according to the information disclosed by WinFuture exclusively, it seems that the company wants to continue to saturate the market with two new processors. Specifically, these SoCs will be called (factory name) Snapdragon SM6225 e SM6375. We knew some specifics in advance. Let's go see it together.

Qualcomm is preparing the Snapdragon SM6225 and SM6375: which processors are they? They are two medium / top of the range that will be released shortly

Qualcomm is working on a number of new smartphone platforms for middle band, some of which are heading towards the premium segment. Among other things, a new chip for relatively inexpensive gaming devices and a mass-market SoC are in development.

The less powerful edition, that is the SM6375 allows the four Gold cores to run at a maximum of 2.1 GHz and the four Silver cores at 1.8 GHz. There are also variations where the Gold cores each run at 2.2, 2.3 and 2.5 GHz, while the Silver cores are each at 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 GHz. The GPU clock rate also fluctuates between 800 and approximately 940 or 960 megahertz, depending on the model. . Because we are talking about three models: the source states that three models are ready at the factory, in fact, corresponding to three SKUs.

One of these three models, according to WinFuture, should be dedicated to the Gaming since we speak of a 144Hz refresh rate. If the previous Snapdragon 690 has the factory name SM6350 and if it is true that one of these processors is for gaming, it is likely that it will come out with the name Snapdragon 690G.

But now let's move on to the second SoC, that is the SM6225. Basically, the chip is closely related to the SM7250 marketed as Qualcomm Snapdragon 765, although we still don't have more precise details on timing or other features.
