The new key Realme 4K SmartGoogle TV was officially launched in the Indian market. It has really interesting specifications at a price in line with the other TV sticks currently on the market, as we will see in the next lines. Obviously the question is: will it also arrive here in Italy? Let's find out more details.
Realme 4K Smart Google TV: technical characteristics
During yesterday's press conference in India, Realme launched several products. In addition to Realm GT Neo 2, the Chinese manufacturer officially presented its new smart key for the first time. It is about Realme 4K SmartGoogle TV, the first key ever - after the Google Chromecast with Google TV - to use the new Google interface on an Android TV basis.
The device in question will first of all compete with the next Xiaomi TV Stick 4K, which has not yet come out but could soon make its debut. The main difference between the two appliances is which one Realme will use Google TV, while the Xiaomi key will integrate Android TV. The two brands therefore continue to battle.
But there are other keys of this type on the market: let's take for example the Amazon Fire TV Stick, with which Realme 4K Smart Google TV shares dimensions. In terms of technical features, this product offers all the latest features when it comes to streaming to TV. Unlike the others on the market, however, it offers Google TV, which groups, sorts and searches all the online content available to the user, according to the subscriptions that the latter has subscribed to and his tastes.
According to what Realme declared during the conference, its key is also very resistant: the tests it was subjected to saw it pass well 144 hours of operation at high temperatures, falls from a height of one meter, a thousand insertions into the USB port and 50 thousand calls from the remote control buttons. The latter is also compatible with Realme's Bluetooth voice remote control (not included in the purchase package).
We now come to the performance of this key, which mounts a quad-core chip with dual-core GPU, paired with 2 GB of RAM e 8 GB of internal memory. As for the connection to the TV, it uses technology HDMI 2.1, or the home router with WiFi. The connection to the smartphone or remote control passes through the Bluetooth 5.0.
These specifications allow you to play content up to the resolution of 4K is 60 fps, with support forHDR10 +. It is compatible with the Google Assistant voice assistant, if connected to the remote control with microphone.
Realme 4K Smart Google TV: price and availability
Price chapter: Realme 4K Smart Google TV Stick at the moment has been made available only for the Indian market, at a price of approx 45 € at the current exchange rate. A cipher in line with other TV sticks on the market. However, it is not known whether it will also arrive here in Europe and consequently in Italy. There is a concrete possibility that this will happen, given that the OPPO sub brand begins to have a solid fan base here too. All that remains is to wait for updates from the company, which also yesterday presented the new Bluetooth speaker called Realme Brick.
This is the third Bluetooth speaker of this year, following the Realme Pocket and Realme Cobble Bleutooth, much larger and therefore performing compared to the other two already presented. It integrates a 5200 mAh battery to get up to 14 hours of battery life and a USB Type-C port for charging. As for the audio quality, the speaker has two 20 W full range speakers and two dedicated speakers for dedicated bass.
