Following the presentation in India of the new Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, the two smartphones are now ready for launch on European territory. The company has confirmed on Twitter that tomorrow, March 31, 2020 at 10:00 GMT + 2, the presentation event of the new Realme 6 series will take place.
Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro: European presentation set for March 31st
As previously mentioned, the Realme 6 series includes the basic and the Pro version. Starting from the basic Realme 6, on board the device we find the new MediaTek Helio G90T;, coupled with 4GB, 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of memory internal type UFS 2.1. Both will have a dedicated microSD slot next to the dual SIM slots.
The hardware just mentioned powers a 6,5 inch diagonal LCD display, (like the Realme 5 predecessor), but the resolution has been increased to FullHD + and now comes with a 90Hz refresh rate. Also in the display we find a 16MP camera with 1 / 3,1 ″ sensor and focal aperture F / 2.0; all covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the back we have a main 64MP sensor, Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 sensor, a secondary ultra wide 8MP with focal aperture f / 2.3, a dedicated 2MP macro and a 2MP B&W to improve the quality of the images.
The smartphone equips a 4.300mAh battery that can be recharged from 0 to 100% in an hour thanks to the 30W charger included in the package.
As for the Realme 6 Pro, here we find the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G, coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 64G or 128GB of internal memory. The smartphone adopts a 6,6 "display with 90Hz refresh rate and FullHD + resolution. We have a pill hole on the top left that houses two front cameras. These include a 471MP Sony IMX16 sensor with f / 2.0 aperture and an ultra wide 8MP sensor with a 105-degree field of view. While the rear cameras include a 64MP main one, accompanied by a 12MP telephoto lens with f / 2.5 aperture, an 8MP ultra wide camera and a 2MP macro lens. Additionally, the Realme 6 Pro supports UIS and UIS Max video stabilization.
The battery on Realme 6 Pro is the same as the basic version, therefore capacity of 4.300mAh with support for fast charging from 30 W. We also remember that both smartphones run on Realme UI based on Android 10.
Finally, for the prices, several leaksters give the Realme 6 6 / 64GB for sale at € 219, with the 8 / 128GB version which instead costs € 279. Still no info on the price of the Pro variant.
