Realme 8 Pro's 108 megapixel camera seen from inside | Video

Immediately after testing the realme 8 pro as for its resistance, the "smartphone destroyer" Zach Nielsen resumed the disassembly of the device. The blogger's goal this time is to compare the 108 megapixel sensor of a smartphone with a budget camera with the flagship main sensor Samsung Note20 Ultra, which has a similar resolution. However, of course, the second device is much more expensive than the second. That said, let's see what came out of it.

Realme 8 Pro has a 108 megapixel main camera: JerryRigEverything reveals it from inside by taking the device apart (again)

After disassembling the back cover of realme 8 Pro, the American blogger unscrewed 19 screws on the rear panel and removed them along with the plastic frame of the smartphone. Comparing the device with LEGO, due to the large number of parts to be disassembled, Zach noted that the battery can be replaced without much effort, simply by pulling the appropriate strap. He then went to work on the device's camera.

As can be seen from the video, its sensors are not located in the same plane and are positioned separately. The blogger pulled the photo sensor from 108 megapixel (the main one) with tweezers and made sure his dimensions were smaller than that of the main camera element of the Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra. In fact, measuring the size of the realme 8 Pro sensor with a caliper it emerged that its width is 7.98 mm against 10 mm of the South Korean flagship.

It also highlights that the realme it does not possess the optical stabilization function, which the Samsung has. However, according to Nielsen, given the price difference between the two devices, such a difference between their cameras is quite enough justified.
