realme like Apple: goodbye to the boxed charger

While some users don't want the charger because they already have one, some people want to have it. And in hindsight, also considering the rising prices. Sure, these are rising especially due to the chip crisis, but that's not the point. Apple has started a sort of trend, the one for which it will no longer include the charger inside the sales box of the iPhone. Well, realme is doing the same with the new Narzo 50A Prime. Let's see the details of the news.

realme apparently is aligning itself with companies like Apple: Narzo 50A Prime will not arrive with the charger supplied in the sales box

realme has joined the trend of excluding the charger from the smartphone packaging. The company's first device, which won't have a charger in the kit, will be the Narzo 50A Prime. The manufacturer announced his plans on the official website.

We have taken steps in the past to focus on sustainability and are also striving to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2025. With that in mind, it was important for us to launch this vision and bring it to life as soon as possible. Our next Narzo 50A Prime will not come with a charger

Realme, like others, explains its decision with concern for the environment. Let us recall once again that Apple was the first to ditch the charger bundled with its iPhone 12. Then Samsung and others followed. Mashed potato Xiaomi joined the club, even if only in China with its penultimate top of the Xiaomi Mi 11 range.

On the one hand, many users have in fact accumulated a large number of chargers from old smartphones at home for a long time. Today the market has a huge number of different charging standards, and the capacities are growing every year. And old 5-10W chargers are conditionally meaningless with modern fast-charging devices.

For example, the Narzo 50A Prime, introduced a couple of weeks ago, supports 18W charging and using the old 10W charger won't be a big deal. However, realme has many models with 33W and superior charging, and for them people will have to buy a new charger separately.
