This afternoon Realme held an offline conference for the launch of some new products including the new Realme GT Neo which for the first time in the world officially brings the flagship processor of MediaTek Dimensity 1200 5G to the market.

But let's start from the front of the smartphone, here the Realme GT Neo is equipped with a gaming screen, a 6,43-inch Samsung AMOLED with a single-hole design in the upper left corner and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display also supports a 360Hz sample rate, HDR standard, and dual front and rear light sensors, along with a smart dimming and fingerprint unlock function under the screen.
On the back we find instead a module with three cameras placed vertically, the main camera has a resolution of 64MP, the other two lenses are respectively an 8MP ultra wide-angle lens and a 4 cm super macro lens. In front we find a 16MP ultra-clear wide-angle camera.
As for the design, the brand has chosen a craftsmanship of the rear as one of the strong points of this device, in addition to the new chip clearly. There are three color options for the smartphone, namely Final Fantasy, Hacker Black and Geek Silver. Realme has officially declared that the source of inspiration for the back cover design is the cyberpunk sci-fi world. The matte design that does not capture fingerprints is perfectly integrated with the smooth horizontal stripes that cross the back cover to create an exclusive trendy icon.
Going to another strong point, the processor, the Realme GT Neo uses MediaTek's Dimensity 1200 chip, this is the first appearance of this chip using TSMC's lower power consumption 6nm manufacturing process. We also have a new architecture, A78 super core, overall performance increased by 22%; new 5G technology, dual 5G dual card, integrated 5G baseband and many other new tech goodies.
For the operating system, on the other hand, the smartphone adopts the newly updated realmeUI2.0, supports the full immersion mode + lightning start + flashback key and the exclusive "GT mode" of the GT series, thanks to which performance sees an increase of 120% instantly . Also, among the hidden benefits: new GT Neo users will receive an extra 6 months of 120GB cloud space.
In terms of battery, the smartphone is equipped with a large 4500 mAh battery, along with a 50W smart flash charging, to recharge the device to 50% in 16 minutes. All in a thickness of 8,4 mm and a total weight of 179 g.
Let's go now to see the prices. The Realme GT has a starting price of 1799 yuan (230 euros) for the version with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage; 1999 yuan (260 euros) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version; and only 2299 yuan (300 euros) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage version. The smartphone will go on sale in China at midnight on April 8.
In addition to the Realme GT Neo, Realme has also released two new accessories, namely the Realme Buds Air2 noise canceling headphones and the Realme 50W mini flash charging kit.
The noise canceling headset uses ANC active noise reduction + Realme R2 chip, which can bring 25 hours of battery life. In terms of sound quality, it uses a 10mm wide dynamic coil + high-end diamond diaphragm. The sound quality is exceptional and the price is 299 yuan (39 euros).
The 50W Realme mini flash charging kit uses non-electrolytic capacitors, new gallium nitride materials and an innovative design weighing in at only 60 grams. It is compatible with the PD, PPS, QC standards, has 13 security measures and a price of 349 yuan (45 euros).
