Realme GT2 series will have three new technologies for photography, 5G signal and environmental protection

This afternoon, on the occasion of the special event of the Realme GT 2 series, Realme officially announced three new technologies.

Realme GT2 series will have three new technologies for photography, 5G signal and environmental protection

Let's start with the first technology that concerns photography. The brand revealed that the Realme GT2 Pro will be the world's first 150 ° fisheye ultra wide angle lens smartphone, directly increasing the viewing area by 20% compared to the current conventional 128 ° ultra wide angle lens.

This is also the world's first fisheye mode on smartphones that can bring more creative angles, a wider visual impact and its long depth of field effect.

In addition, Realme GT 2 Pro will also launch the world's first starry sky mode, the world's first tilt-shift video mode and the world's first starry sky time-lapse video mode, to offer more diverse shooting methods.

During, the Realme event also announced the first antenna matrix system. The brand said the number of 5G stations in China surpassed one million, covering major cities. However, many people still complain that the 5G signal is not good.

Realme then announced that the upcoming Realme GT2 series will be the world's first matrix antenna system, with the aim of optimizing 5G.

This antenna array system is optimized for wireless communications such as cellular networks, Wi-Fi and NFC. The first ultra-wideband free-switching antenna technology, using 12 highly integrated surround-type antennas, of which 5G is the core, and the frequency band supports a global frequency band of 48A, covering more than 150 countries and regions.

For effective use of 5G, Realme has optimized 5G signals in 8 main scenarios, including train stations, hospitals, concerts, airports, universities, subway stations, elevators and underground parking.

According to Realme, the GT2 series signal is increased by 3dB and the 5G weak signal problems are also significantly reduced. In fact, the signal can be increased up to 2 times.

In addition, the GT2 series also optimizes Wi-Fi 6 and so on, adopts a symmetrical design which increases the WiFi signal by 20%, supports dual WiFi network acceleration, 5G WiFi network overlay and other functions.

While in terms of NFC, the Realme GT2 series is upgraded to a three-antenna NFC array, the detection area is increased by 500% and the detection distance on one side is increased by 20%. The GT2 series supports five types of functions: bus cards, bank cards, access cards, car keys and ID cards.

Finally, Xu Qi, vice president of Realme, believes that protecting the environment does not mean removing the charger and protecting the environment does not mean sacrificing the user experience. We believe there are better ways to achieve it. Environmental protection can also be interesting.

In this regard, Realme announced the first material-based environmental protection material for the Realme GT2 Pro.

Raw materials for bio-based manufacturing are reported to be derived from renewable raw materials such as cellulose pulp, a material that is expected to reduce carbon emissions by 63%.

Not only that, the bio-based material used in the Realme GT2 Pro has passed various extreme environmental reliability tests such as thermal shock and drop tests. It could even become the main material for phones over the next 10 years.

It is worth noting that Li Jinhui, a professor at Tsinghua University's School of Environment, expressed his appreciation for the use of bio-based materials in the Realme GT2 Pro.

Professor Li Jinhui said that the series of processes for manufacturing, using and scrapping smartphones will generate carbon emissions. It hopes to encourage all companies to take responsibility and work together to achieve carbon neutrality with the use of new materials.
