Realme RMX2170 certified by TUV Rheinland with 65W recharge

A new Realme smartphone with model number “RMX2170” has just obtained official certification from TUV Rheinland, which has tested the safety of the 65W fast charger (outputs 6,5A at 10V). Additionally, the device appears to adopt a two-cell battery with a nominal capacity of 2.200mAh per cell (thus a total of 4.400mAh).

The device in question may be the Realme X3 Pro, although other models have been mistakenly identified as X3 Pro previously, so it's not entirely certain.

The RMX2170 was also recently certified by the Wi-Fi Alliance and Android 10. It only supported Wi-Fi 5 (ac) while smartphones with Snapdragon 865 support Wi-Fi 6 (ax).

This aligns with current Realme X3 models, which use a Snapdragon 855+ and only support Wi-Fi 5. However, it is not a guarantee, as the company's S765G-based models also lack Wi-Fi 6 (although the chipset supports it).

This hypothetical Realme X3 Pro will follow the Realme V5 presented a couple of days ago. The mid-range smartphone came with a 6,5-inch screen and a 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 720, which is MediaTek's latest 5G SoC and a Mali-G57 MC3 as GPU.
